'tis the season

Posted by DULCIE (Danville, CA, United States) on 17 December 2012 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

The lighting is in place, tents are installed, and snowflakes are falling at the outdoor company Christmas party I happened to come across.
It might be 37 degrees, but heaters are firing and none are feeling the cold. Not even me, skulking around on the fringes snapping pics !! ;-)

Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

The kit and process really suits this - extra oomph where needed !

17 Dec 2012 8:27am

@Ronnie 2¢: I didn't do anything to this photo...this is all the result of the lightshow created by the lighting crew...the projection of the snowflakes and the blue color !! It was pretty remarkable to suddenly see this unremarkable building transformed on the street !! :-)

Nigel from Avening, United Kingdom

Love the blue and white combination

Riccardo from Rome, Italy

Lovely grain here!

17 Dec 2012 10:11am

@Riccardo: The grain is actually the texture of the brick and the remaining leaves on the tree. :-)

Striking but why is the company name reversed?

17 Dec 2012 7:38pm

@grouser: The photo looked better with the tree on the left, leaning slightly to the right....it's just an artistic thing ! ;-)

Why is the company logo backwards? Again, my kind of " fairy land" memories only of Longview.
