DULCIE (Danville, CA, United States) on 12 September 2011 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

I snapped photos with my iPhone, (set to the Hipstamatic App) on our trip yesterday to a concert and dinner at our friends' house in Petaluma. The event was really enjoyable, and so was the hour or so drive it took to get there !! I'll share 15 shots with you ...... :-)

For anyone else lucky enough to be my age, this is what it means : "The Hipstamatic for iPhone is an application that brings back the look, feel, unpredictable beauty, and fun of plastic toy cameras from the past". And, by gosh, it works to Five***** level !!

The incorporation of the speed limit sign helps give a sense as to where this shot was taken (even though you clearly state it in your narrative). I love how everything begins to blur the closer one gets to the camera, giving a good sense of movement.

This is magnificent, reminds me of going to see Joni Mitchell's work at the art
gallery and talking to her about her work with grain elevators and her trip where
she did some amazing photos. This work of yours is similar, it has the raw genius
which of course is the very best. The whole photo is an incredible work of art !!~
