apples from here to infinity . . .

No special effects used here; this was photographed just as I saw it on the shelf at the produce market.
Can you identify where the real apples leave off and their "plexi-mirror" reflection begins? :-)

great colors! I remember a while back I got kicked out of Safeway for photographing a stack of apples.. the manager told me that the way they display their produce is unique to Safeway, and if their competition got a hold of such knowledge, it could run them out of business, but of course, they used more legal sounding jargon like proprietary and unfair economic advantage. So I creatively titled my photo "For The Benefit of Whole Foods" (; not that I think it benefited them at all..

@Chris Pereira: I'm glad I didn't get kicked out of the store. Your story is funny to hear about... and I LOVE the simplicity and artfulness of your green apples !!

You might be on to something... The left side distortion has a real lensbaby feel to it. Love the colors here. Don't you just hate the stickers they put on every piece of produce so that they don't have to teach their check out staff the difference between a red delicious and a granny smith?

Life imitating a Lensbaby...I wouldn't be so cheeky : ] The cell phone camera permits stealth access these days...oh that's just my shopping he changes screens...prune juice, Depends...they quickly lose interest. best...jf
