Frightening terrible & terrific image, Dulcie, some homeless people in my area have this overwhelming face, always heartbreaking to imagine how they fell down that much..... as you title suggests.

@JOEMULLIGAN: Nope. I was in the car at a stop light...he was in another world. And, there is some legal info about it being okay to take pictures of people in public places. However, I always respect anyone who says they do not want to be photographed or posted. :-)

Glad again for the commentary re. did he know, and your sweet answer. It is a hard one. What a face, life, character and what worlds has he seen? I am just so drawn to him--yet you were driving by. How many of us could even see him on the street or speak or offer a kind word. Whew, that is a Life cover shot if you ask me.
