Now, that is much more like a "Winter" shot! I'm finding it a real education as each of us put up shots from where we live. I get soooo bemused that, on one hand, the concept of winter, spring etc is so different, but that we all put up pictures showing exactly the same thing within days of each other(I'm thinking about fungus shots that all appeared within days of each other, regardless of where they were taken in the world)ANyway, all I'm getting at is that it's a real pleasure to see different versions of the same day. Some very similar, some very different

@CElliottUK: Thanks for expressing that, Chris...I've observed that too, and it is one of the special delights of this particular photo blog site, I think. Now I'm going to pop over to your site and see what you have on for today. ;-)

complex, really well done composition...and i love winter's sleeping trees as much as when they're full in spring and summer...

Wow! An impenetrable 'forest' of branches that will be a great hiding place for birds!
Very nice to see this winter scenery in California:-)

The faded colours combine with the bare branches of the trees to give a wonderful feel to this shot Dulcie! Well seen and captured! ;-)

The winter is ready to give up the place to spring.
The snow disappeared, soon the first leaves.

Would love to just step into this scene and live there quietly...nice catch of colors and sweeping branches and geometric barn and fence. You really always did have the eye for design, cuz.
