essay on dying: 2

Danville, CA ~

It is a relief for my soul to voice my thoughts through image. And I so appreciate all of you who express your support, your understanding, your own experiences.

This leaf personified for me my thoughts that .... "people around me are dying; those I love are dying...family, already dead, are desperately missed. I am saddened and hurting. This is a kind of essay on dying, a visual way to express my feelings."

Dulcie,
Much more expressive even than yesterday which was already powerful. The two leaves are, of course, the same leaf, though one is just now more energetic and present than the other. The top leaf seems to be a hand or a glove pointing urgently towards something outside the frame, though who knows what. It is like that, I think.
