Odd focus?

I guess you want us to look at the giraffe rather than the couple.

Different. But for me, I prefer a focus on the couple (well, that's just my personal taste) :)

Love this compo , but not these tones for this occasion . Pure BW I see as more suitable here. Yet, this couple should be focused , not background . Let me know what you think of this critiques ?

20 Oct 2010 12:52pm

@Mariana Maodush: I always appreciate your critiques, Mariana. :-) I agree this shot could have been made in B&W. I was more caught up in the silliness of the scene rather than the formal depiction of the couple. Thank heavens I was not the principal photographer for this wedding, so I COULD make some silly and irreverent shots. So, yes, the tone and the focus is much about the nosy giraffe, and the bride and groom get short shrift. (But, I have more photos of them to come.) Thanks so much.

Oh, this time as many before on other pages I did a mistake - I never read the title . I always look at the picture expecting to get a story . I really did not see this giraffe, but I though of some weird tree !
Now, with your reply and reading title I see the purpose of your shot - just a fun :) Sorry for not seeing this giraffe !

Marvellous capture, I wonder what the giraffe thinks as he seems to be very interested. Wonderful processing, I think you got a very fitting tone to that motive.
