yumm! and Watsonville :D, every time (like all two times) I ride to watsonville, once we get down 152 and it levels off, the air smells of strawberries and other sweet fruits :D

I love the light! But that thing on the upper left corner looks like a monster from a horror movie.... or it is just me having too much imagination?

4 Sep 2010 7:29am

@Sonia Nansid: On the upper left, a handwritten sign and a crumpled plastic sack. But thank heavens for that imagination...without it we couldn't put ourselves into one another's photos. :-)

Thea from Leeuwarden, Netherlands

To be honoust..I have nó idea what preserves is.or are..something sweet I guess?
Makes the picture even more interesting..love the light and the compo..
(also see that monster:))

@Thea: Preserves are made from fruit (usually), like a jam or jelly but of a thicker consistency.

sweet image, in every sense :-)

I really like the repetition of the jars, this industrial feel has me fascinated lately, like some of the work by Andreas Gursky...beautiful b&w dulcie...

@Morris Taub (momo): I appreciate your feedback and the link to Andreas Gursky...just searched him out and saw much to be inspired and amazed by. Thanks so much for the info..... hmmmm, wonder what he would do with my perplexing pile of potatoes from the market. I'll get those posted, yet !! ;-)
