aww, he's beautiful. he already has wise eyes.
but already at two, they are learning to hide things and to be clever. they are only 99.9% innocent.
sometimes i wish children could be innocent forever. wouldn't the world be a better place?
i think it doesn't do any harm to let them prolong their childhood as long as possible; let kids be kids. they grow up soon enough, learn about the world and lose their innocence eventually on their own.
i used to hate feeling innocent. i wanted to be worldly. i still have that .1% of innocence (at least?), and i hope i never lose it completely.

Perfect title, for this lovely portrait

He is a charmer, and prehaps a Scotsman? That is a catch of pure humanity in a small package that redeems any day. Thanks for switching to the portraiture, I feel these shots that are clearly (not edited) taken in my heart the moment they come on to the monitor. Hugs.

Since I don't have any grand babies I like to borrow what I see when I can see them. They are the most valuable of all creations on this earth...........
