Vandevert Ranch: Bend, OR ~ Rainbow Lake

I'm back .... happy to return to Am3. Thank you for your well wishes, and, yes, I do return with some shots of the environment around my sister and brother-in-law's house on the edge of Rainbow Lake.
Once or twice I broke away from the evening's conversation to snap some photos when the sun was going down.....

Wonderful reflection shot. The colors and lines both undulating horizontally and vertically make such a beautiful shot with movement. The greens and blues are great together.

bend is beautiful! i love how you can look westward at the mountains form there. i can see a beautiful sky reflected in rainbow lake.
my camera arrived wednesday. i sat out on my patio as the sun was setting and tried all of the camera settings- fish eye, colors accent, foilage, etc. then today i actually got to go out and try some "real" shots. it's an addiction.
