This flower is part of a four foot high display of flowers in Esin Restaurant where we dined.
I've never seen the flower before but, thanks to AM3 friends, I now know it is a Pincushion flower in the Protea familty . Thanks so much for filling in the blanks, folks ... :-)

Common name - Pincushion
