Great colour and light. I find the frame overly distracting. You can put this down as a personal foible though :)

Good evening, Dulcie,
it is a very nice color combination and I like it very well. It works by the colors green and yellow, very invigorating. At the same time it also seems reassuring, by the color blue. I wish you a pleasant evening. Dear greetings Christel

Looks like you have broken your mold. Trying new things I see. Not one of your "typical" shots. I like the effects you have chosen here it lends the photo well. Nice job.

Barbara from Oakland, United States

Dulcie, where were you? I wanna get out there from Oakland some morning to catch the early light on the foothills. Or was this evening? Great photo and great artistic treatment!

8 Mar 2010 10:10pm

@Barbara: It's a perpetual problem for me to get views of the hills that I can photograph. I'm always looking for hillsides I can access that face Mt. Diablo. One is off 680 in Danville--Ridgecrest Drive. Another is in back of Hillside Covenant Church in Walnut Creek, and the third is inside Rossmoor at the top of Stanley Dollar Drive. I have a friend who just moved there and I can take photos from her window ...oh joy ! ;-) I'll let you know if I find more. Thanks for visiting my blog and for your nice comment !! (P.S. All my shots are late afternoon.)

shelle from United States

I like the patterns of the hills, complimentary colors and I like the frame. It is very poetic. Nice.

Anita from West Nottingham, United States

i am enjoying your explorations with processing. you are using some great borders--how do you make them?

14 Mar 2010 1:02pm

@Anita: Thanks. This border came from Color Efex Pro (I used the Polaroid Transfer selection specifically and only for the border), then I made a green border on AM3's 'border option' just before I posted the photo---this way, I got the two color border. The experimenting is endless and so enjoyable !!! :-)
