Gosh, Dulcie. This image is off the map. The most perfect 3 dimensional picture I've ever seen. The light is stunning. Nothing washed out and yet the lights and darks show perfectly. And the detail is as crisp as crisp can be. And of course, as with much of your work, it feels like we are being given a glimpse of paradise.....or a glimpse insde the heart of God. Can you tell me anything about your secrets here (HDR? whatever?)

@joemulligan: Wow, what comments! I'm so surprised by this reaction because this is one of my 'plain-est' shots ever. Shot it on a tripod at WholeFoods store. Bouquet was outside but under an overhang, so I used my new SB900 Speedlight to add some light to it. Haven't read the directions yet, so I just turned it on and directed the flash a bit up hoping to create some bounced or reflected light. I think I did a tad of sharpening and added the white vignette. That's it. :-) Wow....it's so wonderful when my shots turn out !!! Thank you.

Nice sharp subject and the vignette works well here to dial out competing elements. Well executed!
