I love the colour and post production. Is this a TTV shot?
20 Sep 2009 1:47pm
@bluechameleon: Thanks for your comment and your question...I looked up TTV online and learned a lot. What I used here was a "Texture" that I added as a layer in PS. Yesterday I began experimenting with making my own textures and colors that I can add as a layer to my image. This is all a new world to me. If you or others have any input on the subject, I would be very interested. Thanks again!
Here we go! The emergence of a signature image. best...jerry

@Sarah: Ah, that's a very kind remark. This photography 'stuff' is really a process isn't it?
Sometimes it's hard and baffling, but every once in awhile I have a breakthrough,
as do you!!!
Love this texture you added. Beautiful!! : )

@Elisa: Yikes...I don't understand Spanish. I hope all these words are good ones! ;-)
Stunning capture! i am wondering how the background is treated and if certain texture was used... Great!

@flyingwind风飞扬: Yes, I used a texture layer and then 'erased' parts of it to reveal the image below, then adjusted a little with levels and dodging. I really am learning a lot and enjoying experimenting. Thanks so much for stopping by to view and comment. I enjoy doing the same with your blog.
Ooh la la. Very beautiful and creative. Whenever I see one of these texture layer images, I wonder why I haven't tried one myself. Yours is really and inspiration. Lovely.

Nice texture work, Dulcie! They are each one of a kind images, aren't they and so fun to do. You did a fantastic job here.

The use of texture here adds interest, color and focuses the eye on the flowers. Well done. Textures are fun to play with!! I'm thinking it is time for me to start shooting some textures of my own instead of just borrowing them from others.
The translation of Elisa's comment is somthing like this: "The white flowers are very pretty. I like the image very much. It invites me into the purity of nature."
