wonderful light and contrast but I think it's better if you increased the overall brightness, it's a bit dark from my monitor. nevertheless, wonderful work, it provokes emotions :)

A fine viewpoint to get the tangle of wire, fence and the interesting wood textures on this building. The sunlight skimming across the weeds gives us a clue as to the time of day. The golden late of autumn is very special in its photographic effects.

@ordinaryimages: Good to get this feedback. Gives me something to ponder....I do have a tendency to try to make a macro out of everything. ;-)

don't think the crop is too tight. It emphasises the almost abstract linear patterns of the building and shadows which make such a nice contrast with the anarchy of the vegetation. lovely B/W treatment too.
We are also having an Indian summer in the UK. Which is a jolly good thing as we had a monsoon season during proper summer time.

This series really sets the mood for a western! I really like the feel and keep expecting a cowboy to walk into the shot at some point!

The obvious is the hard cast shadow, the sublime is the light in the background. I stand by my original comment : ] best...jerry
