I've had occasion to fly private down the San Ramon Valley on approach to SJC, it is amazing the amount of open land in the foothills. best...jerry

Beautiful photo of this barn against the beautiful hills. I like the composition of the photo and the angle from which you've taken it.

Great how the fence in the foreground "holds" the picture, cool B&W, feel like entering the place ! Have a nice sunday, Dulcie*

Nice barn Nice treatment. Yesterdays pic was a stunner too. It looks similar to a flower we have here with orange colours called a 'Red Hot Poker'.

I still remember how in the early 60s when I first went there, it was mainly farms and ranches. San Ramon was a sleepy village, and Danville not much more. The good old days! I love barns and fences. Super in monochrome.

A fine image of this barn and the countryside beyond. You've done a fine job of retaining visibility in the shadowed side of the barn. That is wonderful looking countryside. A fine picture!

There are a few here in Southern California, not a whole lot. Usually on the very very outskirts of LA, but I always enjoy seeing them like this one you got.
