Dogwood BranchPosted by Dulcie (Danville, CA, United States) on 16 April 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. Homage to http://ordinaryimages.aminus3.com. Jerry, thank you for your feedback and inspiration. I found this dogwood in a garden in Walnut Creek, CA. This is a first for me. We don't see much of that plant here, but I learned to love them during my childhood in Longiview, Washington. Your critique of my photos is most appreciated. . . . . Sarah from Suisse, SwitzerlandOh, I love dogwood! This is a beautiful black and white shot. 16 Apr 2009 7:34am Bill from Los Altos, United StatesI absolutely love dogwoods. Especially near easter. Tell me you found these near Danville, please. I live in the bay area and miss these gems that grew wild in the woods of Tennessee where I grew up. Great composition and anchoring the stem in the corner. Absolutely Love This! 16 Apr 2009 8:04am @BoB: This was really an experiment for me. Black and white is not as easy as it looks.....so, I will continue to challenge myself. Thanks for your comment. Photosanity from Folsom, United StatesNicely done Dulcie - the color tones in the dogwood "flowers" render well in B&W. 18 Apr 2009 4:56am @Photosanity: Nice to hear from you. Thanks so much for checking in. |
